Our Company is a Private Limited Company incorporated on 16 February 1965.

We are registered as a Small Scale industrial Unit with the Directorate of industries, Government of Maharashtra and our registration number is 11 07 08257 PMT SSI Dt 04 January 1966.

We have our factory and office at Saki Naka, a suburb of Mumbai where we manufacture chiefly pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders .

We have about 65 employees.

Quality Assurance and lnspection Procedures

The procedures form four broad categories

Testing of Prototypes
When a new product is developed, it is subjected to perfor mance and endurance tests and the results are compared with other similar products of indigenous and international makes. ln case lndian or lnternational Standard exists, it is ensured that the product performs according to the Standard.When a new product is developed, it is subjected to perfor mance and endurance tests and the results are compared with other similar products of indigenous and international makes. ln case lndian or lnternational Standard exists, it is ensured that the product performs according to the Standard.
On successful completion of the prototype test, small quanti ties are manufactured and test marketed. Based on the feed back from the customers, changes may be introduced if called for.
Regular Production Test comprising the following
- Inspection of incoming raw materials (physical and/or chemical tests as applicable).
- Inspection of sub-contracted components.
- Inspection of components made in our own shop based on random selection.
- Testing and inspection of finished goods in assembly shop.
- Quality Auditing of finished products based on random selection from finished goods stores. (Complete checking of performance, dimensions, finish, etc.).

The equipment for inspection employed in our factory is as under

General machine shop measuring instruments, i.e. micrometers, vernier calipers, dial gauges, hardness testers, height gauges, etc.
Special Testing Equipment
- Monochromatic light unit (for testing flatness of lapped sur faces).
- Profile Projector (for checking profile of form tools and rubber seals).
- Force Gauges (for testing springs and friction of rubber seals).
- Digital Coating Thickness Gauge (for checking thickness of hardchrome plating oncylinder barrels and piston rods of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders).
- Precision Pressure Gauges and vacuum gauges including high sensitive gaugesaccurate down to 5 mm water column.
- High Pressure lntensifiers (for pressure testing hydraulic cylinders).
- Endurance Testing Equipment (for cycling tests of finished products).
